Cron Syntax
A standard cron expression contains five fields separated by spaces:
minute hour day-of-month month day-of-week
- * matches every allowed value.
-
, separates multiple values, such as
1,15,30. - - defines a range, such as
1-5. -
/ defines an interval, such as
*/10.
This tool targets the common five-field Linux and Unix cron format. Some services use additional fields or platform-specific syntax.
